Noel Westhues- By moi. Age 16, currently being home schooled.
Christian Fitzgerald- The all mighty Mooneh. Age 19, currently engaged and...being prettier than you and stuff.
Setting: In Ireland! At Christian's house.
-----------------------------------------------------
Noel puffed out a light breathe of air as she stared out the window of Christian's home, she'd popped over at the same time she usually did when she came to visit him, early afternoon so she could squeeze as much time with him in a day as possible. She'd gone from her time at Hogwarts seeing him every single day whenever she wanted, to seeing him twice a month if she was lucky. She missed him.
But this really wasn't any ordinary visit. Christian was getting married. And it was only a few days away. She'd come a week and a half early to spend time with him before hand, keep him occupied so he wouldn't get pre-wedding jitters [not that he'd tell her if he was getting them], and just to make up for how busy he'd probably be after the wedding in which they'd have to miss some of their visits.
She wasn't entirely sure how she should feel. She was happy for him of course, she wanted him to be happy, and he deserved somebody who clearly loved him. And Felicity was definately that person, and she was really nice. But she also felt disquiet. His getting married changed everything. He'd have this brand new family, that he made all on his own and wasn't just stuck with and he'd actually want to spend most of his time with them, which narrowed down their already shortened time together. She realized it was kind of stupid, but she couldn't help it.
It kind of irritated her to remember the last time she'd felt this selfish and insecure about her place in his life, she'd acted in a completely unrational way and over exaggerated her relationship with Alaric and almost completely sabatoged the chance to get to know his then girlfriend, a girl whom she'd come to know really well, and totally adored. That behaviour was something she'd regretted acting like. So far she hadn't had any sort of temper tantrums, and she'd put in the effort to get to know Felicity, something in hindsight she probably should have spent more time at Hogwarts doing.
Noel tapped her fingers absent mindedly on the top of the couch she was stretched out on, lower back resting against the arm of it, and waited for Christian to come back from the kitchen.
